Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi is planning to celebrate the birthday of its brand ambassador and Chinese-Canadian actor Wu Yifan. The company has launched a Kris Wu special edition of the Mi Note 3 as a tribute to the actor.
Wu Yifan turns 27 on 6 November and is professionally know as Kris Wu. According to a report on The Mobile Indian the actor’s name ‘Kris Wu’ has been encrypted on the back of the special edition Mi Note 3 with golden color. Other specifications of the smartphone are same as seen on the original Mi Note 3.
Mi Note 3 was launched in September in China and comes with a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display. Two variants of the smartphone with 6 GB RAM/ 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM/128 GB storage are priced at CNY 2,499 (around Rs 25,000) and CNY 2,899 (around Rs 29,000) respectively.
Mi Note 3 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 and features dual camera setup of 12 MP each on the rear side. The 16 MP front camera comes with Xiaomi Adaptable AI Beautify mode to provide more realistic bokeh images without compromising the image quality.
It is powered by a 3,500 mAh battery and comes with fast charging option. The dual-SIM card device has no place to insert external memory card and users have to rely on the internal storage option only.
