Vegetable Manchow Soup


Vegetable Manchow Soup is a Chinese recipe. This soup recipe uses lots of vegetables and noodles and is filling and delicious. You can serve it with or without noodles.

1/4 cup finely chopped green beans
1/4 cup finely chopped cabbage
1/4 cup finely chopped mushroom
2 tablespoon finely chopped coriander leaves
2 teaspoon finely chopped ginger
2 tablespoon soy sauce
1/2 cup corn flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup finely chopped carrot
1/4 cup finely chopped capsicum ( green pepper)
1/4 cup finely chopped spring onions
2 teaspoon finely chopped garlic
2 teaspoon finely chopped black pepper
500 ml water
1/2 cup Refined oil
2 teaspoon finely chopped green chilli

For Garnishing
1/2 cup fresh noodles

Step 1
Heat oil in a pan. Stir-fry the ginger, garlic, coriander and green chillies for a minute.

Step 2
Add all the vegetables and black peppercorns. Stir-fry for 2 more minutes.

Step 3
Add soy sauce, salt and water. Bring to a boil and reduce flame to low.

Step 4
Add the corn flour paste and stir till the soup starts to thicken. Remove from flame.

Step 5
Garnish with spring onions and some crispy noodles (if available). Serve.
