Vegetable Chow mein is an easy-to-make Chinese recipe for people of all age groups. This dish is made with fresh noodles combined with the strong flavours of soy sauce and vinegar. The flavours of this lip-smacking recipe can be relished on occasions like kitty party, pod luck, game night etc. This simple recipe can be prepared within 30 minutes and can be best served with tomato or chilli sauce. You can even pair this recipe with Manchurian. Apart from that, you can also make this simple and quick noodles recipe on a lazy weekend, as it can be prepared in less than 30 minutes.

Ingredients:
400 gm chinese noodles
salt as required
1 teaspoon powdered black pepper
1/2 cup sliced capsicum (green pepper)
1 teaspoon soy sauce
water as required
2 tablespoon virgin olive oil
1/2 teaspoon ajinomoto
1/2 cup sliced red bell pepper
1/2 cup finely chopped spring onions
1 teaspoon vinegar
2 tablespoon chili oil

Procedure:
Step 1
To prepare this delicious recipe, boil 6 cups of water and add a little salt and olive oil in it. Boil the noodles with salt and few drops of olive oil in boiling water for 15-20 minutes. Now drain the water and rinse with cool water and add a little extra oil.

Step 2
Heat chili oil in a pan over medium flame and add the chopped onions along with the red bell peppers and capsicum. stir fry for 3-4 minutes with a pinch of salt.

Step 3
Add soy sauce, black pepper powder, ajinomoto and vinegar and stir well. Saute for 2 minutes more. Add the boiled noodles and stir for 5 minutes and serve with tomato sauce and green chilli sauce according to your taste.
