InFocus recently put out a teaser for the launch of a new smartphone in China on 30 May and also hinted that it would feature TencentOS 2.0. There are no details or leaks about this mystery device, but a smartphone tagged as the InFocus M888 has surfaced online thanks to a benchmark listing and in the process also revealed its specifications.
First reported by priceraja.com, the listing has revealed some of the key specifications and features of the smartphone.The benchmark listing comes from the AnTuTu website showcases a smartphone with a 5.5-inch display. Dubbed as the InFocus M888, the device features 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
What is most interesting about this new smartphone is that it packs in a top of the line MediaTek Helio X20 chipset that features a deca-core processor and a Mali T880 GPU.
The same listing also confirms that M888, which is still in the testing phase is also running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. Adding to all those hardware details is a 16MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing unit.
InFocus recently introduced a smartphone in India called the Bingo 50 for a price of Rs 7,499. The device featured a 5-inch display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor paired with 3GB RAM. Apart from the China launch, there are no details regarding the global roll out of the InFocus M888.
