Tandoori Aloo Tikka


Tandoori Aloo Tikka is a popular and delicious North Indian recipe that is loved by all peer groups. This snack recipe is perfect for occasions like kitty parties, potlucks, picnics, or game nights and can be relished by people of all age groups. Made with boiled potatoes, curd, and a melange of spices, this easy recipe is extremely tasty and doesn’t need much effort from your end.

10 small potatoes with skins
1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder
1/4 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
salt as required
1/4 cup hung curd
1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon kasoori methi powder
2 tablespoon vegetable oil

Step 1
Place a saucepan with water over medium flame and add some salt in it. Let it boil and then add the potatoes to it. Let them boil and, once done, take them off the flame, drain the water and slice each potato into two. Next, transfer the boiled potatoes in a large bowl and add hung curd to it. Next, add red chilli powder, salt, coriander powder along with garam masala and kasoori methi in it. Mix this well and marinate the potatoes for some time.

Step 2
Next, heat a non-stick pan over medium flame and add some oil to it. Once the oil is hot, add the marinated potatoes to it and fry them until both the sides turn golden brown. Once done, transfer these onto a platter and drizzle some lemon juice over these. Serve these hot along with a dip of your choice to enjoy!
