Roti Pancakes(Leftover)


If you have some leftover rotis at home, do not worry about it! You can make these delicious pancakes in the morning for your family and they would be loving it. This pancake recipe is made using leftover rotis or chapatis, onions, gram flour and some common spices that are easily available in your kitchen. Enjoy this Innovative breakfast recipe that can be served to all age groups.

2 chapati
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 pinch thymol seeds
1/2 cup coriander leaves

water as required:
2 tablespoon gram flour (besan)
1 pinch salt
1 pinch red chilli powder
1 teaspoon refined oil

Step 1
Take small bowl and add gram flour and water in it. Stir to prepare a batter which is little thick and not too thin. Next, add all the remaining ingredients in the batter. Spread this batter evenly on one side of the leftover roti.

Step 2
Heat a non-stick pan on medium flame and grease with little refined oil. Place the roti on the pan and cook till crisp. Cook the other side of roti as well. Once crisp from both sides, remove from pan. Repeat with the other roti.

Step 3
Once you have pan fried the rotis, place them on a plate and cut into 2 pieces and serve immediately with pickle and curd.
