Ravioli Stuffed with Mozzarella, Basil and Walnut Pesto is a mouth-watering delight that will woo any foodie in a jiffy. Made using flour, mozzarella, cream cheese, monetary jack cheese, Parmesan cheese, basil, parsley, pesto sauce, walnuts and extra virgin olive oil, this main dish recipe can be enjoyed for lunch as well as dinner and is absolutely delicious. You can serve this Italian recipe with a beverage of your choice to complete the meal.

Ingredients:
300 gm flour
1 dash extra virgin olive oil
100 gm chopped monterey jack cheese
50 gm cream cheese
1 tablespoon pesto sauce
3 egg
200 gm grated mozzarella
30 gm grated parmesan cheese
100 gm walnuts
1 handful basil

Procedure:
Step 1
To prepare this main dish recipe, in a bowl, add the eggs and a dash of extra virgin olive oil. Mix and add the flour. With a tablespoon, mix well until it forms a dough. Remove from the bowl and knead on a flour dusted surface until homogeneous and smooth. Let it sit 20 minutes in a bowl, covered with a clean cloth.

Step 2
In a separate bowl, mix the grated mozzarella, chopped monetary jack cheese, Parmesan, the chopped walnuts and the cream cheese. Let it rest for some time. Meanwhile, stretch the dough, 2 mm thick and form an elongated rectangle, about 15 cm wide. On the rectangle, at the bottom, put piles of cheese and walnuts filling and leave 2 and 3 cm of spacebetween them. Close the rectangle by turning the part of the dough without filling over the part that has the filling and cover it well. Press it with your hands so there is no air between the filling. You can use a little water to make the dough better. Cut the ravioli and cook in boiling water with salt for 30 seconds.

Step 3
Now, place a pan over medium flame and boil water in it. Cut the ravioli and cook in boiling water with salt for 30 seconds. Once done, strain the ravioli in a strainer and set it aside. Now, place a saucepan over medium flame and add the pesto sauce in it. Toss the ravioli in it. Keep the heat on until you finish cooking all the ravioli. Once done, transfer it in a plate. Garnish with with fresh basil leaves and walnuts. Serve immediately to enjoy!
