Pudina Paratha


Pudina Paratha is a popular breakfast recipe. Made with roasted pudina powder, it is an interesting paratha recipe that can be served as brunch with pickle and raita.

500 gm Wheat flour
5 tablespoon Refined oil
2 cup chopped Mint Leaves
1 gm salt

Step 1
For making pudina paratha, heat a pan over medium flame. Dry roast the mint leaves and then grind them to a fine powder.

Step 2
Once converted into fine powder, mix it with wheat flour and salt. Add enough water to make a pliable dough.

Step 3
Cover the dough and keep it aside for 10 minutes.

Step 4
Pinch medium sized balls of this mixture and roll them out into medium sized parathas.

Step 5
Heat a tawa over medium flame. Apply a little oil.

Step 6
Cook the parathas till golden brown on both sides, adding a little oil around the edges.

Step 7
Remove and serve hot with side dish of your choice.
