Pepper Broccoli

500 gm broccoli
2 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoon curry leaves
1 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Step 1
To prepare this amazing broccoli recipe, dry roast the black pepper and cumin seeds together on low flame. Once done, grind them together to make a fine powder and keep aside until required. Next, wash the broccoli in running water and cut into small florets. Keep this aside as well.

Step 2
Now, put a wok on medium flame and add the extra virgin olive oil in it. When the oil is hot enough, add the mustard seeds in it along with curry leaves and saute for a few seconds. Quickly, add the broccoli florets and then saute for a minute or two.

Step 3
Then, add the ground black pepper and cumin powder along with kosher salt in the broccoli and toss well. Cook for 5-7 minutes and then turn off the flame. Serve hot! (Note: You can add a little lemon juice to accentuate the taste of the dish.)
