Amazon, on the other hand, sold 15 million units throughout its sale period. The company said it received a billion page views within the first 12 hours of the sale and had more unique visitors on the website and app in half a day overtaking whole of last year’s sale. Interestingly, Amazon revealed that its sellers received orders from over 800 new pincodes during the sale. Adding to its newly launched Prime service, Amazon Prime membership saw 1 out of 3 shipments in the sale as a Prime Shipment.
