Onion Masala Fry


Onion Masala Fry is a North Indian recipe made using onion, garam masala powder and cumin seeds. This is a great side dish recipe and goes well with naan/roti/paratha. Try this recipe on occasions like anniversaries and parties and impress your guests!

500 gm finely chopped onion
2 teaspoon garam masala powder
1/4 teaspoon cumin seeds
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
1 pinch powdered turmeric
1/4 teaspoon mustard seeds
2 teaspoon Refined oil

Step 1
Finely chop the onions and keep aside. Heat little oil in a pan over medium flame.

Step 2
Fry the mustard seeds and cumin seeds for 30 seconds. Add the onions, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and garam masala powder.

Step 3
Stir well and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.Serve as a side dish to chapati.
