2 pinches kasoori methi powder
salt as required
7 tablespoon gram flour (besan)
3 green chilli
2 teaspoon cumin seeds
2 teaspoon coriander powder
garam masala powder as required
1 teaspoon powdered turmeric

In a medium sized pan, add asafoetida and cumin seeds. Saute for a minute over medium flame and then add sliced green chilies and chopped red onions to it. Stir fry until the onions turn translucent and brown in color. Now, add gram flour into the pan and cook properly for minimum 10-15 minutes in order to get rid of the lumps.
Add salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder, red chili powder and kasoori methi powder into the pan. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly for a few minutes.
Add some water into the pan and cover it using a lid. Cook for 10-15 minutes over low flame. Remove the pan after sometime and if the water has been absorbed completely turn off the gas knob and transfer the mixture into a large serving bowl. Your onion gram flour curry is now ready to be served.
