This North Indian snack is added with lots of onions along with chilli powder, baking soda, gram flour and garam masala powder which can be an absolute treat to your taste buds. If you want to add more flavour to it top it up chaat masala, coriander chutney or tomato ketchup.
3 medium sliced onion
4 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 teaspoon chilli powder
salt as required
4 green chillies
1 cup gram flour (besan)
water as required
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon garam masala powder
To make this recipe, slice the onions and keep it aside.
Next, take a bowl and add gram flour, water, salt, chilli powder, baking soda. Mix them well to make a batter. Now, dip the onion slices in the batter.
Now, start heating the vegetable oil in the pan over medium flame. Once the oil is heated pour the onion slices to it and fry until they become golden brown in colour.
Once the desired color is obtained, turn off the flame and sprinkle some garam masala powder. Serve warm with green chilles and any chutney of your choice.
