Nadru aur Almond ki Seekh


Nadru aur Almond ki Seekh is a easy North Indian snack recipe. These crispy and delicious kebab balls are easy to make and can be a perfect snack recipe for evening tea and can be tried as a kitty party recipe as well. This utterly delicious appetizer recipe is an all time winner and could be tried out as an anniversary recipe, pot luck recipe, and kitty party recipe.

100 gm almonds
4 chopped green chilli
10 gm chopped garlic
salt as required
50 gm cottage cheese
2 gm mace powder
50 ml vegetable oil
300 gm lotus stem
5 gm chopped ginger
50 gm gram flour (besan)
100 gm boiled potato
3 gm powdered green cardamom
50 gm chopped onion
20 gm khoya

Step 1
To prepare this recipe, take lotus stem, clean them under running water and then blance and cut into thin slice. Now take a pan and put it over the medium flame. Add blanched lotus stem to it and fry. Now transfer it into a blender and blend into a fine paste.

Step 2
Now, take a bowl and add grated cottage cheese, boiled potato and all the ingridients together. Add lotus stem paste and mix them well.

Step 3
Divide the mixture in the equal proportion and make small lemon-sized balls. Now, press the balls and make into flat kebab. Then, top the kebabs with chopped almonds.

Step 4
Now take a pan and put it over high flame. Add oil in the pan and once the oil is sufficiently hot, deep fry the kebabs till they turn brown and serve hot with mint chutney.Tip: The same mixture could be used to make stuffed nadrukishikhampur kebab, just stuff them with seasoned hung yogurt.
