Mysore Bonda is a very popular South Indian snack recipe which needs only few simple ingredients to get ready! This mouth-watering snack is prepared with rice flour, baking soda, onion, all purpose flour, yoghurt, cumin and ginger.
1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup rice flour
salt as required
1/2 cup yoghurt (curd)
1/2 inch ginger
refined oil as required
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 small onion
1/3 teaspoon cumin
1/2 cup water
6 coriander leaves
Heat oil in a deep pan over medium flame.
In the meantime, mix rice flour, all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, onion, cumin, yoghurt, ginger, coriander leaves and water in a large mixing bowl.
Mix well to make a thick batter.
Now, put small portions of the batter using your hands in the hot oil and fry them.
When they turn golden brown in colour, take out and serve hot with chutney!
