Microwave Paneer is a delicious North Indian recipe which is so easy-to-make that it can be prepared in just 20 minutes. This paneer recipe doesn’t takes much time and hence is an apt choice when guests are coming over at short notice. This main dish recipe is cooked by sauteing garlic cloves and capsicum cubes in tomato puree and a melange of spices, then microwaved with paneer cubes.
250 gm paneer
6 cloves garlic
salt as required
1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon sugar
2 tablespoon refined oil
1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder
For The Main Dish:
2 tablespoon tomato puree
1 capsicum (green pepper)
To prepare this easy microwave recipe, peel and slice the garlic cloves in a small bowl. Then wash capsicum in running water and cut cubes of it. Now, cut the paneer cubes in a medium bowl and keep aside till required. Next, put a small frying pan on low flame and heat oil in it, once the oil is hot enough add the sliced garlic and saute for a few seconds.
Then, add the tomato puree, salt, sugar, red chilli powder, dhania and garam masala powder into the pan. Stir well and cook the masala for a few seconds.
Add cubed capsicum to the pan and saute for 2-4 minutes. Finally, add the cubed paneer or the cottage cheese to the pan and stir lightly. Switch off the burner and transfer the content in a microwave safe bowl.
Let the veggies cook in microwave for about 4-5 minutes and serve hot with chapati or paratha, as you like. Enjoy your meal!
