Masala French Toast


French Toast is a classic breakfast recipe of the French cuisine and can be made easily at home. This is a twisted version and is prepared using onion, tomato, egg and processed cheese and is very common in Indian food.

3 pieces bread slices
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
1 cup finely chopped coriander leaves
3 egg
1/2 teaspoon finely chopped green chili
2 teaspoon refined oil
1/2 cup finely chopped tomato
1/2 teaspoon powdered turmeric
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup water
1/2 teaspoon powdered black pepper
1/4 cup finely chopped processed cheese

Step 1
Heat 1 tsp of oil in a kadhai. When the oil is hot enough, add onion and fry on medium flame. After a few seconds, add tomatoes and cook them well. Then add coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp, 1/2 cup fresh coriander and mix well. Then, add water and cook for another few seconds. Now masala is ready.

Step 2
Then, make a smooth batter with eggs, remaining salt, turmeric, green chili, remaining fresh coriander and grated cheese in a bowl and keep aside.

Step 3
Slice bread into a size what you like and coated with masala on the one side of a bread and covered with another one on the top and whole two bread sinks in the batter together.

Step 4
Then heat 1 tsp oil in a fry pan and fry the bread in equally both sides. It is ready and served hot with tomato sauce.
