Macaroni Sundal


Macaroni Sundal offers a unique yet tasty twist to the traditional recipe. When tossed in soya sauce and garnished with freshly chopped cilantro, the dish comes alive with a burst of flavours!

4 cup pasta macaroni
1/2 tablespoon urad dal
1 tablespoon mustard seeds
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 1/2 tablespoon virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon light soya sauce
1/2 tablespoon chana dal
1 tablespoon asafoetida
1/2 teaspoon chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoon coriander leaves
1/4 cup chopped onion

For The Garnishing:
2 tablespoon coriander leaves

Step 1
Boil macaroni in a pan with salt and olive oil till soft. Drain excess water, wash well and keep it aside.

Step 2
Heat oil in pan. Add urad dal, chana dal and mustard seeds.

Step 3
After seeds crackle, add diced onions. Saute till golden brown.

Step 4
Add turmeric powder, garlic powder, red chilli powder, black pepper powder, soya sauce to taste and macaroni.

Step 5
Mix well and saute for two minutes.

Step 6
Garnish with freshly chopped coriander. Serve hot!
