A yummy side dish recipe that can be made on auspicious occasions, Kaddu Ki Sabji is extremely tasty and can be made easily. This simple recipe is best enjoyed with poori and paratha!
300 gm chopped,washed & dried pumpkin
5 cloves chopped garlic
1/3 teaspoon turmeric
3 tablespoon refined oil
2 chopped green chilli
1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
1/3 teaspoon red chilli powder
2 pinches salt
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and saute it for few seconds on medium flame.
Add green chilli and garlic, and saute them for a few seconds on medium flame.
Reduce the flame to low, add turmeric powder and red chilli powder, mix it properly.
Add the chopped pumpkin (kaddu) and salt to taste, mix it properly.
Cover the pan and cook the pumpkin for about 12 to15 minutes on low flame, keep stirring in between.
