Guava Raita is a delectable combination of yoghurt and fruit and is perfect to be enjoyed on a sunny afternoon to beat the scorching heat of the summer. Made using guava, yoghurt, salt, chaat masala, red chilli powder and dill leaves, this side dish recipe will give a mouth-watering twist to your regular meal and will leave you craving for more.
salt as required
1/2 tablespoon chaat masala
1/2 cup chilled water
1 1/2 cup yoghurt (curd)
4 sprigs dill leaves
1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder
To prepare this side dish recipe, firstly, on a chopping board, peel and chop the guava finely. Now, add the chopped guava in a bowl. Now, add yoghurt in it and mix it well.
Sprinkle salt, red chilli powder, chaat masala over it and mix it well. Make sure that guava pieces are evenly coated with the spices. Now, add chilled water in it and whisk it well. Make sure the consistency is not to thick nor too runny. Place this bowl in the fridge for half an hour. Once done, take it out and garnish with dill leaves. Serve it chilled to enjoy!
