Guava Halwa


How about trying interesting halwa made with guava? Prepared with some easily available ingredients, this easy dessert recipe can be prepared in just afew minutes.

1/2 kilograms guava
1 cup condensed milk
1 teaspoon crushed to paste pistachios
2 teaspoon ghee
30 gm khoya

For Garnishing:
1 teaspoon cashews
1 teaspoon almonds

Step 1
Peel and chop half kg guavas. Scrape away the seeds. Puree it in a blender.

Step 2
Cook this guava puree on low flame till it is reduced to one fourth. Add 2 tsp ghee and cook for 2-3 minutes.Pour one cup condensed milk and add 30 gms khoya.

Step 3
Cook on high flame till the halwa turn brown. Add chopped cashews, almonds along with pistachios paste. Serve Hot!
