Grilled Garlic Bread


A delicious side dish Italian recipe, Grilled Garlic Bread is made using whole wheat bread, garlic and oregano.

2 slices bread- whole wheat
1 clove chopped,crushed garlic
2 sprigs chopped thyme
1/2 tablespoon virgin olive oil
1 pinch salt
2 pinch powdered oregano

Step 1
To start making this easy snack recipe, brush both sides of the bread slices with virgin olive oil.

Step 2
Pre-heat the griller, and grill the greased bread slices until grill marks are formed for about 2 minutes on each side.

Step 3
Rub the garlic on both sides of the toasted bread and sprinkle salt on top.

Step 4
If desired, sprinkle chopped thyme leaves and oregano on the bread.

Step 5
Serve as a snack or as an accompaniment with cheese dip or mayonnaise.
