Are you in the mood to have something healthy and Indian? Then worry not because this Indian recipe will satisfy your sudden food cravings. Try this easy to make garlic, coriander parantha which is not only healthy but also very filling. Pair it with a bowl of yoghurt and some spicy pickle and enjoy.
1 cup wheat flour
1 1/2 tablespoon gram flour (besan)
1/2 cup yoghurt (curd)
1 bunch washed & dried coriander leaves
1/4 cup barley flour
1 teaspoon sesame seeds
1/2 tablespoon pureed green chilli
1 tablespoon ginger paste
1 teaspoon chilli powder
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 cup jowar flour
1 tablespoon oats
1 tablespoon refined oil
100 gm green garlic
1 teaspoon poppy seeds
1 teaspoon fennel seeds
1/2 tablespoon onion paste
1 teaspoon garam masala powder
2 pinches chaat masala powder
2 pinches salt
Chop the coriander leaves and green garlic very finely.
Lightly roast the sesame seeds, saunf and poppy seeds.
Mix all the above ingredients and knead into a soft dough.
Make medium sized dough balls and roll into parathas.
Roast on greased tava adding little oil and serve hot with yogurt, cucumber raita or green chutney.
