Flax seeds have long been thought to offer health benefits to your body, as they contain fibre, fat, protein along with various minerals and vitamins. These nutrients may offer protection against cancer, diabetes, and cardiovascular problems. Consuming ground flax seeds enables the body to absorb the nutrients more effectively. Flax Seeds Laddoo is an easy way to get the benefits of this powerful seed.
1 1/2 cup flax seeds
2 cup raw peanuts
2 1/2 cup jaggery
2 cup sesame seeds
1 cup roasted chickpeas
2 teaspoon powdered green cardamom
To prepare this easy recipe, put a kadhai over medium flame and dry roast flax seeds, sesame seeds, raw peanuts or groundnuts, and chickpeas.
Once done, turn off the flame and allow the ingredients to cool down at room temperature. Powder them separately one by one. Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl with grated jaggery and cardamom powder too.
Take some mixture in your hand and shape them into a laddoo. Once done, store them in a air tight container. These laddoos will last for one month. (Note: Though this dessert recipe is made without using any oil, you can use a little ghee while making these laddoos.)
