1 cup chilled water
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup canned blueberries
1/2 cup lemon juice
500 ml club soda
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon lime zest
4 ice cubes
Combine the sugar, water, blueberries, and lemon zest in a saucepan and place it on a medium flame. Let it boil over medium flame and then simmer for 5-10 minutes or until the sugar is melted and the blueberries turn into thick paste.
Remove from the heat and allow it to cool. Add the mixture to a blender jar and blend it to a smooth puree. Squeeze the lemons to get the juice.
To prepare the lemonade, take a large pitcher and combine blueberry puree, lemon juice and water. Stir to combine properly.
