Diet Sandwich


As the name suggests, Diet Sandwich is a dish best suited for all the weight-watchers. This is an easy-to-make sandwich recipe that you can prepare for your family and friends in breakfast with a cup of coffee or tea.

1 capsicum
1 tomato
2 tablespoons semolina
4 slices brown bread
1 onion
2 pinches powdered black pepper
1 tablespoon yoghurt (curd)
salt as required

Step 1
Wash together capsicum and tomato under running water, and finely chop them in separate bowls. Then, peel the onion and cut it into rings in another bowl.

Step 2
Now, take a small bowl and mix together yoghurt, semolina, tomato, capsicum along with salt, and black pepper powder. Take the bread slices and evenly spread this mixture on each slice and place aside.

Step 3
Put a non-stick pan on medium flame and place one bread slice at a time and toast. Once done, add onion rings on top and enjoy! Repeat the procedure to prepare more such toasts.
