Crispy Roasted Potatoes


A hot cup of tea and plate full of snacks is all you need on a chilly winter or rainy day. Snacks made with potatoes are a perfect companion on these days. So, we bring you yet another potato snack recipe which you can give a try. Crispy Roasted Potatoes is a North Indian snack recipe which can be easily prepared at home. It can also be served along with some main dish like grilled chicken breast, cafreal (a traditional Goan chicken recipe) and others. The ingredients used to prepare this snack are potatoes, olive oil, black pepper and parsley.

6 large potato
1 dash powdered black pepper
2 leaves parsley
salt as required
2 tablespoon virgin olive oil
water as required

Step 1
To prepare this easy snack recipe, preheat the oven at 220 degree Celsius and line the oven tray with a baking sheet.

Step 2
Then, take a deep vessel and heat water in it along with some salt. Add the potatoes and bring them to a boil.

Step 3
Once the potatoes become tender, remove and peel them. Cut them into wedges or cubes and then add to a large bowl. Add salt, olive oil, and black pepper to the potatoes and mix well.

Step 4
Place the potatoes in the baking sheet in a single layer and transfer into the oven. Bake for around 20 minutes and then stir and again bake for 20 minutes till they turn golden.

Step 5
Once cooked, transfer into a serving platter and garnish with parsley leaves. Serve with the dip of your choice.
