Cherry Tomatoes Chutney


Cherry Tomatoes Chutney is a delicious tangy sauce recipe which is prepared using cherry tomatoes and Indian spices.

1/2 kilogram cherry tomatoes
3 walnut
1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
1 tablespoon coriander powder
1 tablespoon turmeric
1 teaspoon fennel seeds
10 curry leaves
1 teaspoon sesame seeds
8 dry red chili
3 dates
2 tablespoon ginger paste
1 tablespoon cumin powder
1 tablespoon nigella seeds
150 ml vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon asafoetida
2 tablespoon garlic paste

Step 1
Wash the cherry tomatoes with fresh water. Take a cooker and add cherry tomatoes to it along with water and salt. Cook for about 10 minutes.

Step 2
Chop the dates and crush the walnuts in a bowl. Meanwhile, prepare the tempering by heating oil in a pan. After this, add mustard seeds, cumin powder, curry leaves, dry red chillies, ginger paste, garlic paste, chopped dates, turmeric, crushed walnuts, fennel seeds, nigella seeds, coriander powder and sesame seeds to the pan.

Step 3
Once the chillies turn crispy, add asafoetida. Now, add boiled cherry tomatoes. Cook until the oil leaves the sides of the pan. Your cherry tomatoes chutney is ready.
