600 gm pasta penne
200 gm low fat mozzarella cheese
100 gm parmesan cheese
3 tablespoon butter
black pepper as required
4 tablespoon bechamel sauce
100 gm cheddar cheese
1 cup heavy cream
salt as required
2 tablespoon virgin olive oil
To prepare this main dish recipe, preheat the oven at 400 degree Fahrenheit. Meanwhile, on a chopping board cut the cauliflower and broccoli into small florets and keep aside for a while. Also, grate the cheddar cheese, mozzarella and Parmesan cheese and set these aside. Place another pan over medium flame and add water along with penne pasta in it. Let it come to boil and stir in between to check the pasta. Once cooked, strain the pasta in a strainer and sprinkle olive oil over it. Toss it well.
Now, in a pan, melt butter over medium flame and once done, add the chopped florets of broccoli along with cauliflower and saute for a while. Add the boiled pasta and simmer for a while. Next, add cream, low fat mozzarella cheese and bechamel sauce. Toss it well and make sure the paste is evenly coated with sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add a little water. Season with salt and pepper as per your taste, and cook for a minute or so. Once done, take it off the flame
Spread the pasta evenly onto a baking tray. Top it up with grated Parmesan and cheddar cheese and cover the top with a foil paper. Bake the pasta for about 15-20 minutes or until the cheese melts completely. Once done, remove from the tray and serve it hot with a drink of your choice!
