Chana Masala Grill Sandwich


We love to mix the continental recipes with Indian flavours and masalas and Chana Masala Grill Sandwich is a one such fusion recipe that can be prepared if chole or chana masala is left in the last meal. This is an intelligent way to avoid wastage and use the leftover in a best way. This lip-smacking snack recipe is purely Indian at heart, quite literally as the stuffing involves Indian masalas. A perfect snack recipe for kitty party or a game night, chana masala sandwich is going to surprise your guests and will make them want for more. You can serve this exotic fusion recipe with a cup of hot coffee with tomato ketchup or chutney.

4 bread- brown
1 small onion
1/2 teaspoon chaat masala
1 slice sliced cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoon chana masala powder
1 small tomato
1/2 gm roasted cumin powder
black salt as required

Step 1
Take the brown bread and spread butter on all the slices.

Step 2
Add 1 tablespoon of chana masala and spread it evenly.

Step 3
Chop the onions, tomatoes and capsicum in a bowl and use them for the toppings.

Step 4
Add a pinch of chaat masala, roasted cumin and salt and a slice of cheddar cheese. You can also top it with grated cheese.

Step 5
Grill the sandwich until it turns golden and crisp.

Step 6
Add butter as required and serve it with tomato ketchup or chutney.
