What is better than a classic French toast for an amazing breakfast to kickstart your day? But you may worry about the calorie accompaniment of the famous breakfast recipe. Brown Bread and Egg White French Toast is a twist to the wonderful eggy delight which is not only healthy but quite delicious too. This savoury recipe seeks to provide a guilt-free and enjoyable choice for the first meal of the day. It is something which can also be prepared and snacked on anytime though for quick hunger pangs. Very easy to make, this interesting recipe takes use of such basic ingredients from the pantry as eggs, brown bread slices, tomato, green chillies, carrot, and some salt to season this wonderful preparation.

Ingredients:
4 slices bread- brown
2 green chilli
1 pinches salt
1/2 medium tomato
8 egg whites
1/2 medium carrot
1 tablespoon sunflower oil

Procedure:
Step 1
To prepare this healthy breakfast recipe, wash and finely chop the tomato and green chillies. Also, wash, peel, and finely chop the carrot. Put them aside.

Step 2
Break eggs and separate the whites from yolk. Transfer the egg whites to a big bowl. Add the chopped tomato, green chillies, and carrot in the bowl, along with salt. Mix all these components together.

Step 3
Now, put a non-stick pan on medium heat and grease it with some oil to fry these savoury French toasts on it.

Step 4
Dip each piece of the brown bread into the egg white and vegetable mixture and fry them one at a time on the heated non-stick pan.

Step 5
Let the toast cook for a minute and then turn it over to cook it from the other side. Place it on the kitchen napkins to drain out the excess oil.

Step 6
Cook all the French toasts in a similar manner and then turn off the heat.

Step 7
Serve these healthy toasts for breakfast or snack time with salad or any other accompaniment of your choice.
