Barley Paratha


Barley Paratha is a North Indian recipe made with barley and wheat flour. This paratha recipe is a healthy and an easy-to-make recipe. Try this breakfast recipe that gives you an instant energy boost, and enjoy it with curd and chutney of your choice.

3/4 cup barley
1/2 chopped onion
1 teaspoon chilli garlic paste
2 pinches salt
2 tablespoon wheat flour
1/2 teaspoon ginger paste
1 cup extra virgin olive oil

Step 1
Chop onion and make a coarse puree in the mixer.

Step 2
Make the dough by mixing all the ingredients, water and 1/2 teaspoon of oil.

Step 3
Take a small portion of the dough and roll it into a paratha.

Step 4
Heat the pan, smear it with a little oil and place the paratha on it and cook.

Step 5
Relish with green chutney or tomato sauce.
