A delicious snack recipe, Baby Corn Cutlet is a must try dish made using baby corn, potato, corn flour and besan. This easy recipe is a comfortable tiffin recipe as well
250 gm baby corn
125 gm corn flour
2 red chilli
1 handful coriander leaves
1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
2 pinches salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic paste
125 gm potato
125 gm Gram flour (besan)
1 handful curry leaves
1 cup Refined oil
1 teaspoon poppy seeds
1/4 teaspoon ginger paste
Boil the baby corn and remove.
Combine with red chillies(dried), gasagasa, cumin seeds and grind to a smooth paste.
Boil the potatoes, peel and mash well. Combine this with the corn flour and gram flour. Knead well.
Heat little oil in a pan. Add the ginger garlic paste, onions, coriander leaves and curry leaves.
Saute until onions turn golden. Mix the baby corn paste, potato mixture and onion mixture in a bowl.
Add salt and little water. Mix until well combined.
Heat oil in a deep frying pan.
Make small balls of the mixture and shape them into cutlets. Deep fry the prepared cutlets until golden brown.
Remove and serve with chutney or sauce.
