Apple Pear Galette

1 tablespoon all purpose flour
2 tablespoon apricot preserve
1 1/2 pear
1 teaspoon ginger
2 tablespoon granulated sugar
2 pie crust
1 1/2 apple
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 gm egg

Step 1
Preheat the oven at 350 degrees Celsius. Dust some flour on a flat surface and place both pie crusts one on top of the other and roll them in the form of a large circle. Place this circle crust on a baking tray and pour 1 tablespoon of apricot preserve on top of the crust.

Step 2
Take a large bowl and add sliced apples, sliced pears, lemon juice along with flour, grated ginger,ground cinnamon and 1 tablespoon of sugar in it. Mix it well and spread this mixture on top of the crust. Next, bend the edges of the crust over the apple-pear mix to make sure they don’t drip out.

Step 3
In a small bowl, break the egg and using a brush spread the egg over the crust. Now, dust the remaining sugar on top of the fruit mixture and place the baking tray in the preheated oven. Let the pie crust bake until it turns golden and crispy and fruit becomes soft. Once done, take it out of the oven.

Step 4
Place a small pan over medium flame and add remaining apricot preserve to it along with water. Let the mixture boil. Once done, spread this evenly over the baked fruit. Serve this hot and enjoy the French dessert.
