Apple Banana Vegan Cake is a scrumptious dessert recipe which will enrich your palate with its lip-smacking flavors. This easy cake recipe is made using simple ingredients such as apple sauce, banana, vanilla extract, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, corn starch, and nutmeg.
2 cup all purpose flour
2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon powdered cinnamon
170 ml vegetable oil
1 cup apple sauce
2 tablespoon powdered sugar
1 tablespoon corn starch
1 1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
To prepare this delicious recipe, begin with preheating your oven to 175 degree Celsius. Take a square inch cake pan preferably 8 inch in size. Line in parchment paper in the pan and grease the sides and the bottom of the pan.
Take a bowl and mix vegetable oil and sugar together in it. Blend the ripe bananas, vanilla extract and apple sauce in a blender. Pour this blend mixture into the bowl of vegetable oil and sugar to create an apple-banana mix.
Take another bowl and add the remaining dry ingredients including flour, baking soda, nutmeg, cinnamon, corn starch and salt. Now add this dry mixture to the created apple banana mix. Mix all the ingredients well.
Pour this mixture to the cake pan and let it bake for around 20-30 minutes. Now prick a toothpick in the cake, if they toothpick comes out clean then the cake is prepared and needs no more baking.
