Samosa is a snack which can be enjoyed anytime and anywhere. It’s a popular snack recipe of North Indian cuisine and is traditionally prepared using all purpose flour with a stuffing of potatoes and authentic Indian spices. Over the time, there have been several variations of this popular snack and mind you they all have an amazing taste. From Pasta to Pizza Samosa, you just name it and it’s already there. Here is one such variation of samosa recipe, which is prepared using gathiya namkeen. Gathiya is a traditional Gujarati namkeen and is amazing in taste. Anjar Ke Samose is a flavourful snack recipe that’s prepared using gathiya namkeen, dabeli masala, onion, lemon juice and red chill powder.
10 samosa sheet
1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
1 teaspoon sugar
4 tablespoon dabeli masala
1 teaspoon lemon juice
100 gm namkeen
200 ml refined oil
1/2 cup onion
To make your very own Anjar Ke Samose, take the gathiya namkeen and put it in a blender and blend it. Such that you have a fine powder.
Now take a non-stick pan and heat some oil in it. Then add chopped onions in the pan and saute them nicely for a minute. Then add sugar along with the red chilli powder and mix again.
Now it is time to add the dabeli masala and cook it while stirring time and again. After a minute, switch off the flame and take out the mixture prepared in a bowl. Let it cool down.
Then take the samosa sheet and fill it with a portion of this filling. Then close the samosa and take a deep frying pan. Pour oil in it for frying, let the oil become hot. Then, fry the samosa until they turn golden brown in colour. Your Anjar Ke Samose will be ready!
