2018 KTM 390 Duke white colour variant launched officially

KTM India has officially launched the white colour variant of the 2018 KTM 390 Duke. Bookings are open across over 400 KTM showrooms in the country.

The 2018 KTM 390 Duke reportedly features thermal and software enhancements to improve its usability. The bike comes with a heat shield on the left side, inside the trellis frame which keeps the heat away from the rider’s leg. It also reportedly gets updated software which ensures trouble-free mobile phone pairing and headlight functioning. KTM has also improved the radiator fan for better cooling. Other than these changes, the bike is essentially the same as the 2017 390 Duke.

The bike gets the same 373.3 cc engine that’s good for 43.5 PS of maximum power at 9000 rpm; and 37 Nm of peak torque at 7000 rpm. The engine pairs with a 6-speed transmission with slipper clutch. The 390 Duke also comes with ride-by-wire, and adjustable brake and clutch levers.

KTM has equipped the bike with 43 mm upside down open cartridge front forks and a monoshock in the rear with adjustable preload. The bike gets a large 320 mm disc up front with a four-piston radially fixed calliper and a 230 mm disc in the rear with a single piston floating calliper. Dual channel ABS is standard, with on/off/Supermoto modes.
